Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us. The part worth reading twice is section 3: what this research is, and what it deliberately is not.

Last updated 26 August 2026

1. Who you are agreeing with

These terms govern your use of Miria Research, operated by «CONTROLLER — registered name or individual», registered at «CONTROLLER — registered address», tax number «CONTROLLER — VAT / tax number» (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What the service is

Miria Research publishes qualitative research on small and micro-cap companies listed on European growth markets. The research is assembled from official regulatory filings, public news and structured market data, with language models used for extraction, classification and drafting.

Every financial figure we publish is computed deterministically from source documents. We do not ask a language model to produce a number.

3. What this research is not

Nothing on Miria Research is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an inducement to buy or sell anything.

  • We publish no price targets.
  • We publish no ratings, no buy/sell/hold, and no equivalent by another name.
  • We do not know your circumstances and nothing we publish is tailored to them.
  • We are not authorised as an investment firm and do not provide a MiFID II investment service.

Our research is a starting point for your own work, not a substitute for it. Markets move, filings are restated, and documents can be wrong. Decisions you take are yours. If you need advice, speak to someone licensed to give it.

4. How the research is produced, and how it is labelled

Our reports are drafted by an AI system from official filings, public news and market data. We say so on every report, and we say it in a form a machine can read as well as a person, because under Article 50 of the EU AI Act text generated by an AI system and published to inform the public has to be disclosed as such. Those obligations have applied since 2 August 2026.

What that label does and does not mean here:

  • The prose is drafted by a model, then published under our editorial responsibility. We are answerable for what appears, not the model.
  • Financial figures are not written by the model. They are computed from the source documents by deterministic code, and a model is never asked to produce a number.
  • The model is used for reading documents, classifying them, and drafting — not for deciding what a company is worth.
  • AI systems get things wrong, and so do the filings they read. Section 3 applies in full: check anything you intend to rely on against the primary source, which we name.

We do not use your personal data to train models. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Your account

You must be at least 18 and give an email address you control. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

One account per person. We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the service, and we will say why.

6. Credits

What they areA unit of account inside the service, used to commission research. Credits are not money, not a deposit, not a security, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.
Where they come fromCredits granted on sign-up or in a promotion, and credits you buy. The two are tracked separately, and grants may carry conditions that purchased credits do not.
PriceShown on the credits page and confirmed on Stripe’s checkout page before you pay. That page is the price.
ExpiryPurchased credits do not expire while your account is open.

7. Commissioning research

Research is commissioned collectively. You pledge credits towards a subject; while a pledge is outstanding those credits are held and cannot be spent elsewhere.

  • If the subject reaches its target, the held credits are spent and the research is produced.
  • If it does not reach its target by its deadline, the held credits are released back to your balance in full.
  • Once produced, the research is published and readable by everyone. Commissioning it does not make it yours and does not buy exclusivity, early access on request, or influence over what it says.

We decide what we can responsibly cover. If we cannot produce research on a subject — for lack of source documents, or because doing so would breach section 3 — we release the pledges instead of producing something we do not stand behind.

Individual features may be unavailable while we are still building them. Where a feature is switched off, the interface says so rather than failing quietly.

8. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive your card details — see our Privacy Policy.

Credits are digital content supplied immediately, and by buying them you ask for that immediate supply. Where you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, this means your statutory right to withdraw within 14 days ends once the credits are in your balance, to the extent the law allows.

Unused credits: if you have bought credits and have not spent any of them, write to us and we will refund them. If a payment goes wrong, or credits are not issued for a payment that succeeded, tell us and we will fix it.

9. Acceptable use

  • Read, quote and cite our research freely, with attribution and a link.
  • Do not republish it wholesale, or present it as your own or as someone else’s.
  • Do not scrape the site or use automated means to bulk-download content, and do not attempt to reach data your account is not entitled to.
  • Do not use the service to break the law, including market abuse and insider dealing rules.

10. Ownership

The research, the interface, and the underlying data model are ours or our licensors’. The filings and public documents we build on belong to whoever published them. Publishing a report does not put it in the public domain — section 9 says what you may do with it.

11. Availability

We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted. We build in the open and things break; when they do we fix them. We may change or withdraw features, and if a change would leave credits you have bought without a use, we will tell you before it takes effect.

12. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any investment loss, lost profit, or decision taken on the basis of anything we publish — which follows from section 3: we do not tell you what to do with your money.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability can be limited, ours is capped at what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may close an account that breaches these terms. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach by you, we refund unspent purchased credits.

14. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and move the date at the top. For changes that materially affect your rights we will notify account holders by email, and they take effect no sooner than 30 days later. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by «GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION». If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.

16. Contact

«PRIVACY CONTACT — email address», or by post to «CONTROLLER — registered address».
